I Saw the Sun (Güneşi Gördüm) is a Turkish film by Mahsun Kırmızıgül. In the film two brothers go on opposite sides in a Turkish-Kurdish conflict| it opened at the number one position at the Turkish box office in 2009. The film was announced as the Turkish submission to the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in September 2009.。Do we truly know one another? Every one of us has three lives: a public, a private and secret one. What we once stored in our memories is now being stored in our phones - what happens when these are made public?。
