南宋年间，在孟州十字坡经营着一家客栈，老板娘母夜叉孙二娘（周海媚饰）貌美如花，武功高强，豪迈孔武不输男人。十年前她随父亲来到十字坡，心怀杀妻之恨的老孙头曾经嗜赌如命，而今唯有借酒浇愁。某晚，一名男子偷偷潜入客栈，他就是因误伤人命而遭官府通缉的菜园子张青（莫少聪饰）。几番交手后张青被孙二娘制服，老孙头留其在店中，张青也垂涎孙二娘的美貌留了下来。插科打诨、嬉闹玩笑，这对冤家就这样相处度日。直到某天，朝廷出兵梁山，双方剑拔弩张，而十字坡成为了两边明争暗斗的重要场所。风起云涌之际，拼杀一触即发。 本片根据四大名著之一《水浒传》中的故事改编。。When he learns his days are numbered old count Hervé de Kéraudren decides to hide in a secret alcove and to die there, just to annoy his heirs.
