本剧改编自同名漫画，讲述了20多岁的年轻编辑石田友也，因为有棒球的经验，当上了体育杂志的编辑，但由于调动去了不习惯的女性杂志。在那里临时担任的是，50多岁的料理研究家三矢老师，他是京都方言的招牌人物，也是公开同性恋者的人气艺人。虽然友也很紧张，但三矢的料理却很轻松地抓住了他的胃。凝视友也的温柔视线，开朗的人品，偶尔显出的可爱，无可奈何地被吸引了——！？。During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals.
